Nicky’s Care for Africa Foundation (NiCA Foundation) was established in 2017. It started as a project under HWMCO-Nederland, for it to be registered as a Community Based Organization (CBO) and daughter of HWMCO-Nederland in Kabale, Uganda, in 2018. As HWMCO-Nederland & NiCA Foundation our purpose is to provide disadvantaged children in Uganda a worthy future.
Goals and strategies are always jointly determined, which has, in combination with good communication and total transparency, resulted in the achievement of several goals since the start of our cooperation two and a half years ago.
The photo slider below shows our achievements in a nutshell, from a donated large canoe in November 2017, via the first motor boat, the five constructed landing docks and the realized swimming instruction center, amongst others, to the second motor boat that recently arrived from the Netherlands ….
Of course our efforts don’t stop here. While we are this year focusing on safe drinking water, we are also working on long term plans about which we will share more later this year.
